I attended college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, so the town holds a place close to my heart. My favorite things about Lancaster include shopping at the country's oldest continuously open farmers' market and the quaint shops in the downtown area, dining at wonderful restaurants and touring the city's local artist district during First Fridays. I was a tour guide for three years during college, so I could go on! Roaring Brook Market, is a new addition to the Lancaster community, but they need our help with funding through their recently launched crowdfunding campaign.
Roaring Brook Market & Café is a sustainably-minded, local food market and cafe in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In addition to stocking traditional local grocery items, they will be featuring local and seasonal breakfast and lunch options in the cafe.
They are hosting a community supported campaign to help bring a local foods grocery store and cafe to downtown Lancaster. In order to make this dream a reality, they need contributors from the community to purchase the necessary equipment to make a grocery store and café operate. Not only is this campaign a way to bring another small business to Lancaster, but also a way for members of the community to become intrinsically involved in the success of the store.
Follow Roaring Brook Market on Facebook and Twitter for updates on their funding progress.
I love to go antiquing in Lancaster and of course, go to all the outlets! In fact, we spent our 1st anniversary at Donneckers B&B. Small world!
