My kiddos will agree that they LOVE pancakes. What they can't agree on is the TYPE of pancake Mommy is going to make. Logan prefers his pancakes with fruit added- blueberry pancakes, banana pancakes, and pumpkin pancakes top his list. Sophie wants her pancakes with chocolate chips. Instead of spending my morning flipping separate pancake orders for everyone, we work together and create one giant pancake which is baked in the oven in an American Made pan.
The Oven Pancake Recipe is FABULOUS because my kiddos can add their own toppings- fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, coconut, jimmies (this is a great way to use up those Christmas jimmies!)- to an area of the pancake that will be theirs.
We use the Pampered Chef White Large Round Stone With Handles when we make our oven pancake. I am obsessed with Pampered Chef stoneware and it's all made in the USA! The White Large Stone is 15″ and has a 1/2 inch edge. This recipe makes a HUGE pancake and can easily be halved to fit a smaller dish. I freeze whatever is leftover…or we have it for desert later with ice cream.
Oven Pancake Recipe
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of flour, like Bob's Red Mill Unbleached White Flour
2 tablespoons baking powder, like ARGO Aluminum Free Baking Powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt, like Redmond Real Salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, like Simply Organic Cinnamon
2 eggs
2 cups of milk, more if needed (we use almond milk)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Oil to grease dish with
Toppings: fruit (sliced bananas, strawberries, blueberries), nuts, chocolate chips, jimmies
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 15″ round dish (make sure it has an edge of at least 1/2″ deep).
In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon). In a small bowl, beat eggs and milk. Add the egg and milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until blended. Add melted butter, and stir until blended. Add more milk if needed to bring to a pourable consistency. Pour batter into prepared dish, spreading evenly. Add toppings of choice. Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Pancake will be done when top is lightly brown and a testing toothpick comes out clean. We serve our pancakes like pizza slice. Enjoy!
I Spy American Made
Can you spot the American made products we used to make our oven pancake? Anchor Hocking glass bowls are my favorite mixing bowls. The mixing cup is made in the USA by Tupperware. The ingredients pictured are all produced in the USA.

My kiddos love “daddy’s pancakes” but I had to try this.
Used my American made Nordic Ware rectangle dish instead since I don’t have a round one with a lip. Took a few minutes longer, but it worked!
this is so weird cause my son has been wanting to make pancake cupcakes this is as close as it will come to that i love this!!! i am showing him this recipe and letting him try it than kyou!!!!!
I don’t have this Pampered Chef pan, but it looks nice! I’m thinking that my biggest cast iron skillet might not be quite as wide, but would also do the job, right?
This sounds like a wonderful recipe to try.. i am the proud grandmother of 10 and they are all great eaters so i know it will be a big hit!!! Thank you so much!!
I’ve never heard of oven pancakes before but they sound very good! I love trying new things. I’d like to try them with blueberries! YUM 🙂
My kids love pancakes, too, but they are so tedious to make. This sounds like a perfect solution!!
That is such a great idea! We make our pizzas that way, with everybody topping their portion. Makes for an easy delicious breakfast. The pampered chef Large Stone is something I don’t have, but I can put it on the wish list.
These look good and I’m wanting the Pampered Chef Dish now too.
What a treat, great ingredients! I love the Bob’s red mill brand! My kids would love helping me make this!
I love this recipe and the pan, too! It adds a new dimension to pancakes for sure!!!
