What a surprising product! I had no idea I could become so attached to something so fast that I didn't even know I needed until it was in my hand. It also doesn't really seem like the kind of product that would be manufactured in the USA, but it is. And it is just so cool, so versatile. I just hope I can explain why I love FlyGrip…

I don't want to lie. When the opportunity to review a FlyGrip came to me, I didn't get terribly excited, but I have an iPhone and I love accessories. If it was American-made, I wanted to check it out. As soon as I got my hands on the FlyGrip, it was love at first touch. At this point, I can't imagine life without it.

But what is it? Now I'll try to do it justice. First, it is a spring-loaded t-shaped fitting that allows you to slide two fingers securely behind any phone or tablet allowing easy one-handed use without fear of dropping it. Next, one end of the t-shaped grip locks in and makes a nice little easel. I've used the vertical position to keep my phone visible and handy when working on my computer but needing info from my phone on hand. I also like to use it when I have a texting conversation going and I am waiting for the next reply. It also stands up in horizontal position that is great for watching videos or viewing pictures. It has saved some fights between the kids when I have required them to set up the YouTube videos equidistant between them and keep their hands off. It is just a downright handy, sleek, well-designed little invention.

I prefer to use my iPhone without a case, so I liked that you could adhere the low-profile grip piece right to the phone. Also, since I don't use a case, the secure feeling of holding my precious phone was even more appreciated. But for those who don't want to commit full time or who want to be fully coordinated, the FlyGrip comes with a free matching case. And if you are undecided, it comes with extra adhesive strips so you can try it both ways. Use of the FlyGrip is absolutely mandatory anytime my kids are using my phone, but the truth is that I can't resist using it every time myself as well.
