It's National Sleep Awareness Week. How have you been sleeping? I know I sleep better when I'm buying American made products I can trust. The rest of the USA Love List editors feel the same way. We started talking about bedtime and sleep products made in the USA and got giddy about all of the ideas we came up with. Here is our list of personal favorites.
I use Rejuva Minerals non-toxic, vegan and gluten-free beauty products day and night. I hydrate my face and neck before bed to hydrate my skin and prevent wrinkles – I'm pretty obsessed about not getting wrinkles. Eek! I particularly love using Rejuva Minerals Luscious Berries Facial Oil as my night ‘cream' each night. I know you' ll love it too.
There's no reason not to sleep in style. Nordstrom has a great selection of American made pajamas, like these tie dye pajamas from LOVE + GRACE.
I love lavender but the scent of rose relaxes me even more. The LaLicious Sugar Kiss Lip Butter has a hint of rose in the blend, this is why it is one of my nightstand staples. The lip butter protects my lips from drying out while I sleep.
I always have water on my nightstand as well. I fill up my Tervis water bottle so when I knock it over (with me, this is inevitable), there is no middle of the night spill to clean up.
I am also a believer in the old wives' tale about satin pillow cases. Not only do they keep away the wrinkles but it helps ward off frizzy hair if you are trying to extend your blow out a day or two. I have a set from Morning Glamour.
Don't miss our source list for American made bedding which includes sheets, pillows, blankets and more!

I am a night owl, and I think my kids have inherited this trait! Over the years I have found some fabulous American made products that help my kids relax and fall asleep on nights that they are struggling.
Made with certified organic essential oils, the lavender and chamomile scent of Badger Night Night Balm helps my kiddos relax and calms their bodies. I lightly message a dab onto each temple, and rub some under their nose at bedtime.
Both of my kiddos ASK to be tucked in with their Minky Couture blanket on nights that they need some extra comfort. Minky Couture luxury blankets are super soft, and the weight of them is like sleeping enveloped in a giant hug!

I have a bad habit: going to bed without taking off my makeup. I'm trying to break this habit by using these Burt's Bees White Tea Facial Wipes every night. I think it is working because I'm starting to feel like I can't go to sleep without a freshly cleaned and moisturized face.
Now that I think of it, I have another bad habit around bedtime: staying up way too late. When I need to break out of a real late night pattern, I take these Vitafusion SleepWell Melatonin Gummies for a natural re-set that's tasty too.
I really like this hypoallergenic pillow from the Westin Heavenly Bed Collection. Yes, I tried it at a Westin hotel and found it was soft but supportive, just the way I like it.
How about you? Do you have any American made sleep products that help you get your best rest? Feel free to share them in the comments below! Until then, we'll be snoozing and dreaming of tags that say, “Made in the USA”.
How did My Pillow get left off this list?! My Pillow products are all Made in America as well as fantastic products! Both the sheets and the pillows are great.
wow what a selection! I haven’t tried any of these! I’d love to try the tea and the badger balm, both for kids. It would make a fun gift basket to get a selection of these products along with a teddy bear!!!
Good idea, Rosie… how could we forget Vermont Teddy Bear!? Making lists like this is what we love to do most. Glad you enjoyed it. PS: Tracey suggested the Badger Balm, but my kids are obsessed with it too. Every time I buy a new tin, they swipe it and we always take it when we travel. -SW
