I was invited to the Waldorf Astoria's Guerlain Spa to experience the most lovely mani-pedi service I've ever had. I'm still on Cloud 9 and I can't wait to tell you all about it. I'm going to go ahead and declare it the best pedicure in NYC because it was absolute perfection.
The Waldorf Astoria in NYC
Nothing says New York City like the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. In 1931, the hotel was the tallest and largest hotel in the the world. Notable historic figures like Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe have frequented the hotel and iconic legends like Ella Fitzgerald have performed there. Such an iconic landmark would offer nothing less than one of the most luxurious spas. As soon as you exit the elevator at the 19th floor of the Guerlain Spa, you're greeted by pristine Italian marble floors, platinum tiles that glisten in the light, and French Baccarat crystal to match the twinkle that's sure to be in your eye.
The Guerlain Spa
I was lucky enough to be invited to the hotel's Guerlain Spa for the Milk, Haute Honey and Rooftop Herb Manicure and Pedicure. We've shared American made luxury items we love; now it's time to share a luxurious experience with you. If you're looking for the perfect service to share with someone special, or to gift to someone, I highly recommend the Milk, Haute Honey and Rooftop Herb Manicure and Pedicure. True delight.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and offered a beverage (or two) of your choice. I enjoyed a glass of champagne {and tea, not pictured} in the Grand Salon before being greeted by Guerlain Spa's lead technician, Rodica.
There was an array of colors from which to choose. It was hard to just pick one, so I picked two. I picked Essie's American made polishes, Forget Me Not for my toes and Petal Pink for my hands.
While I was picking colors, Rodica prepared my foot bath which included hot milk. The spa's instruments, including the nail file, pumice, and paraffin are all single-use, so you won't have to worry that they were used on anyone else. After my feet were prepped and ready for polish, Rodia used a sugar and herb scrub to soften my skin.
She then brought over warm honey, obtained from the Waldorf Astoria’s 20th floor rooftop six apiaries.
She used a large flat brush to apply it to my skin. Meanwhile, the individual lavender paraffin bags for my feet were heating up.
The steam from the machine heating up the paraffin met my nose, and I relaxed with every inhale. Rodica laid hot towels over my feet and legs so that the paraffin and honey would penetrate the skin to leave it silky smooth. Her treatment was so gentle, not poking or prodding, I nearly fell asleep in the chair. I'm calling it: the best pedicure in NYC!
Manicure & Pedicure
Here are my lovely nails. You likey?
When is the last time you had a manicure and pedicure? Do you know your made in USA nail polish brands? There are several!

Spa salon gives a person the opportunity to relax and do useful procedures. I recently visited this spa salon which specializes in permanent makeup. I did procedures that improve the expressiveness of eyebrows and eyelashes. Satisfied with the result.
SPA-just an incredible pleasure, it is something that everyone should try, after a hard week or just for themselves. When we were traveling in Singapore, my husband and I visited a joint SPA, you can read more about it here https://mediaonemarketing.com.sg/top-couple-spas-singapore/. This is a very cool feeling
Nice!
I had the luck to stay there once many years ago on a business stay. Sadly, I had no time for anything else (probably couldn’t have afforded it anyway) but this would have been the one thing I would have loved to do! Sounds heavenly!
Never have had a manicure or pedicure. Availability is very limited (and far away) in this area. Sounds good, though.
Interesting, Karen… where do you live? You can get them on nearly every commercial block here, but nothing like this spa treatment. Lucky Jill!
