Nail art designs can be extreme or super simple. It's a great way to bring some flavor to your personal style and try things you normally wouldn't. We just celebrated Flag Day and Fourth of July preparations are underway so now is the perfect time to to use your red, white and blue.
This manicure is a simple representation of the American Flag – flag nail art, if you will. I topped it with glitter to make it more festive. The manicure pictured is on my 6 year old daughter. When I manicure her fingers, or any other little ones, I generally like to do a pattern instead of full fledged nail art. The patience for the tiny fingers just isn't there.
Create your own patriotic nail art designs by designing color combinations or get really creative and paint some designs on. Here I just used a dotting tool to add some extra contrast on an accent nail.
The American made colors used for this manicure:
Priti NYC – White Ballet Dahlia (white)
Priti NYC – Schwarkopf (blue)
Orly- Haute Red (red)
Piggy Polish – Piggy Paint (glass slippers as a glitter top coat)
